Climax Metal Products Company is Recipient of Motion Industries 2008 Superior Operational Excellence Award
November 30, 2008, CLEVELAND, OHIO Climax Metal Products Company had the distinguished honor of being ranked #1 among their peers at a recent awards ceremony in Birmingham, Alabama!
On October 15th, before an assembly of Motion s Senior Management and their top suppliers, Climax was singled out for a, Superior Operational Excellence Award. Motion Industries, Inc., with more than 450 locations in the United States, Canada and Mexico, is one of North American s leading distributors of industrial maintenance, repair and operation (MRO) replacement parts.
Chris Curran, President of Climax Metal Products Co. accepted the award. When asked about the recognition, Chris replied, This award represents the hard work and dedication of our employees and our goal to reach 100% satisfaction with our distributors. We are continually striving to improve our processes, including connectivity, efficiency, on-time deliveries and outstanding Customer Service. Climax is honored to receive this award.
The award is a handsome etched glass award & a very prestigious honor for Climax. It is on display in the front lobby at Climax Headquarters.
NEW 3D Models and 2D Drawings Available on The Climax Website
July 10, 2007, CLEVELAND Climax Metal Products Company, supplier for the MRO Market, launched a new robust feature to their website, CAD-On-Demand, that allows users to configure, view and download 3D models and 2D CAD files of Climax s shaft collars, rigid couplings and keyless locking assemblies.
CAD-On-Demand simplifies the job of design engineers by providing 3D models and 2D drawings that can be instantly download and inserted directly into the engineer s own design. The website also provides visitors looking for unique parts the ability to design to specific needs and requirements with Climax s new Custom Part Configurator.
This new service is in response to customer requests for 3D CAD models of Climax s product line. Climax Metal Products has an outstanding reputation within the Industrial Distribution community and strives to support distributors of all sizes.
